"Bleeding Colors"- Using colorful markers, rubbing alcohol, and paper as my media for this piece, I created a mixture of many colors as a base for the drawing. After creating the swirl or color, I realized the design was very similar to that of tie-dye, so I created a tie-dyed t-shirt with the bright hues bleeding out of the shirt. The details of the pen helps better emphasize the design/complexity of the colors blending together yet staying apart. October 2018

"Healthy Chaos"- After collecting a variety of healthy foods such as fruits, vegetables, and grains, my class and I organized it in a creative way in order to best show the contrasting colors of all the healthy foods. This still life was fun to draw in oil pastels with my fellow classmates and I really enjoyed the differing shading and tones within my picture. February 2019

Inspired by the music of fellow Colgan students, our project was to choose a music technology student's song and create a album cover to represent the tones and under layers of the lyrics presented in the chosen song. Richy's song, Birth, and his rising to fame was the song I chose because the smooth, soft tones of the beat inspired me the most. Depicted in the painting is a blurred city street at night, with the city lights glowing and vibrant. I chose to paint on a real vinyl record to add a different touch to the piece. Make sure to check out Richy's music made in his music technology class in the link below. March 2019

According to parents, new technologies are brainwashing their kids and not benefiting their brains and mental states at all. I drew a teen watching something on her phone from a parent's perspective. The spiral of black and white represents the "brainwashing" that phones, tablets, and TV's do to a younger mind, according to parents that is. This was a twp page piece, with the hypnotic spiral on a back page with the screen of the phone cut out to show it. May 2019

For Global view, I painted the view of the Sun from the surface of the Earth with acrylic paint. There is also Mercury, Venus, and the edge of the moon since Earth is the 3rd planet. I first painted the black range of space, then the planets and their individual details. The stars were the most interesting part to do, because I used a toothbrush to sprinkle them across the galaxy. November 2018
